Connecting a social account is always optional. Each connection exists for one reason: to verify that a video you submit actually belongs to you before it is reviewed.
TikTok
Creators may connect TikTok through official TikTok Login. The portal reads your basic profile and your own videos' public metrics to verify submitted TikTok videos.
Creators may connect their Instagram professional account through Instagram Login. The portal identifies the connected account and reads officially available insights to verify submitted Reels or posts.
YouTube
Creators may voluntarily connect their YouTube account through Google OAuth. Creator Video Portal uses read-only YouTube access to identify the connected channel, verify ownership of submitted YouTube videos/Shorts, and retrieve the video information/metrics required by the portal. The portal does not upload, modify or delete YouTube content.
YouTube integration
Read-only access, verified ownership, nothing more
Connecting YouTube is entirely voluntary and uses Google OAuth with a single read-only scope (youtube.readonly). Creator Video Portal uses this only to identify your connected channel, confirm that a submitted YouTube video or Short actually belongs to that channel, and retrieve the video's public view, like, and comment counts.
Creator Video Portal cannot upload, edit, publish, or delete anything on your YouTube channel through this permission. You can disconnect at any time from Dashboard → Account.
